Raspberry Nova (Red Fruit) – (Rubus idaeus)<\/h2>\n

Nova raspberry plants are grown exclusively in vitro. They are called regeneration plants, which means they are of superior quality compared with plants propagated traditionally in the field. They are generally healthier, more vigorous and more productive than field-grown bare-root plants. They also have the advantage of adapting more easily to the climatic and soil conditions where they are planted. Trayplants are delivered ready for field planting from May to autumn.<\/p>\n

Highly productive early-to-mid-season cultivar launched by Agriculture Canada in Kentville, Nova Scotia, in 1980 – Fruits ripen one to two days after Boyne, and are of medium size. They are firm, shiny and moderately dark. Flavor is good. The plant is hardy, with long, upright stems and few thorns.<\/p>\n
