The Trollhaugen variety offers cylindrical and compact clusters bearing dark blue almost black berries of medium size and round shape without seeds very sweet and tasty with a taste of peach, blueberry, slightly spicy.


It blooms in spring and is harvested in September (early harvest). This vigorous variety, slightly sensitive to mildew and powdery mildew, resists to temperatures of -30 Celsius corresponding to a hardiness zone of 4a.
