* Fiche détaillée à télécharger

Northblue is a mid-height hybrid ranging from 60-90 cm with a mid-season crop and very productive. This compact and vigorous shrub offers a yield of 3 to 7 pounds per shrub.

Its fruit is of good size, dark blue with a wild blueberry flavor. It is a variety recommended for cold regions and ornamental use.

Growth is vigorous during summer and the large, shiny, dark green leaves turn dark red in the fall. Its small size makes it attractive.

Generalities Blueberry

A blueberry bush in fruit is always beautiful. Whether it is in northern blueberry fields lined with lowbush blueberries or in southern blueberry fields with rows of bushes of several cultivars, the temptation to eat the fruit is uncontrollable as the beauty of the production is amazing.

Compared to the lowbush blueberry, which grows in clusters, the highbush blueberry is bushy, which facilitates its cultivation in rows, and the fruits are 3 to 5 times larger. It is a beautiful shrub that produces beautiful large fruit, but its hardiness must be considered when purchasing. Production requires three cultivars to ensure the best yields.
