Himrod, an American hybrid well adapted to northern climates, produces large, detached clusters of medium-sized, oval, white (golden yellow) grapes with an excellent honey-like flavor and a melting, juicy, seedless texture with soft skin.
It is an excellent variety for obtaining sweet raisins. It is one of the best varieties among the seedless varieties. The small green flowers are self-fertile and the fruits are ripe at the end of August and beginning of September.
The weight of the clusters is about 0.36 lb and the weight of the berries is about 2.1 gr.
