This section describes a few of the main wine varieties grown in Quebec. Our harsh climate led local wine growers to search out new vine varieties and introduce intersting new flavours to wine lovers. Why not them a try?

Adalmiina (ES 6-16-30)

This variety is very disease and cold resistant to -34 °C. The ripe, golden berries may reach 22 brix (90 Oe) TA measures of 0.6 to 1.0% and a pH of up to 3.6. The clusters are medium-sized up to 160g. Similar in style to Frech Muscadet, perfect with sea food. Somewhat tannic finish. Full-bodied, light floral aroma. Very vigorous and productive vine. Juicy, sweet grapes.
